Scope/Description:

The Biology and Technological Research Institute - IBPT, initiated in 1946, the publication of Arquivos de Biologia e Tecnologia, with the objective to disseminate the researches carried by its technician. Published annually up to 1956, it was interrupted from 1957 to 1965, restarted with annual editions until the year of 1972. From 1973 to 1979 the magazine was published on a semesterly basis and in 1980 3 fascicles were published. From 1981 it started to be edited quarterly in March, June, September and December, this publication was kept until the present date.
