CMJ is an international peer-reviewed open access journal published six times per year. CMJ is indexed in Biosis, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, PubMed/Medline, PubMedCentral (PMC), ISI Alerting Service, Science Citation Index-Expanded (SciSearch), Scopus. CMJ is a member of and subscribes to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethic. CMJ owners are four Croatian Medical Schools (University Osijek, Rijeka, Split and Zagreb). Founded in 1953 as Acta Facultatis Medicae Zagrabiensis.
