Scope/Description:

Journal of Mountain Science aims to enhance international academic exchange on mountain research, to speed up the integration of theoretical results and technical methods of mountain research into different countries, and to promote the development and progress of all the disciplines of mountain science. It also bears the mission of introducing the mountain research achievements of the developing countries to the world scene. The Journal is devoted to mountains and their surrounding lowlands - ecoregions of particular global importance, with a particular emphasis on the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent high mountains, the Himalayas.
