From what we&#8217;ve read, some of these scientists have been a part of major advancements in their field. Others used science to create new medical treatments and devices that could save lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So today, we&#8217;re paying homage to some of the most noteworthy Latino scientific minds with a list of famous Latino scientists you should know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This article is a product of intense research. He contributed to carbohydrate metabolism, sugar nucleotides, and renal hypertension.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leloir won the 1970 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for discovering the metabolic pathways that occur in lactose.
