Scope/Description:

The Journal of Software Maintenance and Evolution: Research and Practice publishes refereed papers on all aspects of software maintenance and software evolution, and at all levels from very detailed to very high level. We seek to include articles from practitioners working in the field (including the user community) as well as from researchers. It is our intention to publish papers on the activities and processes involved in making changes to any existing software implementing in whole or in part, systems from microcoded systems to very high level meta systems, and especially to producing one operational version from another.
