II. Scope & Description

Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia (Brazilian Archives of Cardiology) is the official scientific journal of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology and the main information source in this area in the country. As part of the Thomson Scientific system, it will have its first impact factor in 2010. The journal is also indexed in the Cumulated Index Medicus of the National Library of Medicine and on the MEDLINE, EMBASE, LILACS, Scopus and SciELO , with a citation on PubMed ((United States National Library of Medicine) both in English and Portuguese.
