II. Scope & Description

《高技术通讯》（中文版）创刊于1991年、《High Technology Letters》（英文版）创刊于1995年 ，是由国家科技部高技术研究发展计划（863计划）联合办公室创办、中国科学技术信息研究所主办的综合性学术刊物，是国内新兴技术领域的高层次学术刊物之一。其宗旨是为我国研究人员及时发表其研究成果和进行国内、国际学术交流提供平台，促进我国新兴技术研究的发展和扩大其在国内外的影响。内容涉及印刷电子技术、计算机、现代通讯、先进制造与自动化、生物技术、资源环境技术、能源技术、海洋技术等新兴技术领域，主要读者是从事战略性新兴技术研究的科研人员、科技管理人员。所刊文章不局限于硬技术学术论文，同时兼顾前沿评述、研究热点、政策论述等综述性论文。两刊的主要特点是内容新，报导快，所报导的具创新性的高技术研究成果，或属国内首创，或具世界先进水平。两刊注重研究的新思路、新理论、新方法和新技术的择文标准，具有学术性、前沿性、可读性和资料性。
