The International Journal of Mechanical and Materials Engineering is a peerreviewed international and interdisciplinary journal that provides a forum for crossdisciplinary research contributions covering a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to the mechanical and machining properties of materials as well as materials science and how they apply to materials used in equipment and structures. Important topics include nanomaterial material synthesis and characterization principles of the micromacro transition elastic behavior plastic behavior hightemperature creep fatigue and fracture as well as metals polymers ceramics intermetallics and their composites. Other areas of interest are tribology joining mechanical behavior environmental effects machining nonconventional machining materials processing constitutive relations and microstructure property relationships. The journal also deals with problems ofkinematics and dynamics of rigid bodiestheory of machines and mechanisms vibration and balancing of machine parts stability of mechanical systems mechanics of continuum strength of materials fatigue of materials hydromechanics aerodynamics thermodynamics heat transfer thermo fluids nanofluids energy systems renewable and alternative energy engine fuels and experimental methods in dynamics. The journal accepts Reviews Theoretical and Experimental Works as contributions. The journal also publishes special issues with selected papers from relevant conferences.
