The European Respiratory Journal is the official Journal of the European Respiratory Society. Clinicians, academics and allied respiratory professionals all benefit from reading the ERJ, which covers "the full area of respiratory medicine with emphasis on "bench-to-bedside" papers and major clinical trials". It is the most highly regarded, peer-reviewed, respiratory journal in Europe. Each issue covers clinical and experimental work in cell biology; epidemiology; immunology; pathophysiology; thoracic imaging; paediatric pneumology; occupational medicine; intensive care; sleep medicine; thoracic surgery; and thoracic oncology.
