Frontiers in Neuroendocrinology is comprised of short reviews and commentaries interspersed with more comprehensive reviews. Most reviews are invited; however, the editorial board will consider unsolicited manuscripts that pass critical, detailed peer review. Letters to the editor are encouraged to stimulate debate and discussion. Areas of Interest include: • Integrative cellular and molecular aspects of hormonally active peptides • Neurotransmitters that regulate the secretion of hypothalamic hormones • Comparative and clinical neuroendocrinology • Interactions between the nervous system and the immune system
