Scope/Description:

The Russian Journal of Mathematical Physics a peer-reviewed periodical, deals with the full range of topics subsumed by that discipline, which lies at the foundation of much of contemporary science. Thus, in addition to mathematical physics per se, the journal coverage includes, but is not limited to, functional analysis, linear and nonlinear partial differential equations, algebras, quantization, quantum field theory, modern differential and algebraic geometry and topology, representations of Lie groups, calculus of variations, asymptotic methods, random process theory, dynamical systems, and control theory.

Impact Factor

Impact factor (IF) is a scientometric factor based on the yearly average number of citations on articles published by a particular journal in the last two years. A journal impact factor is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field. Find out more: What is a good impact factor?

III. Other Science Influence Indicators

Any impact factor or scientometric indicator alone will not give you the full picture of a science journal. There are also other factors such as H-Index, Self-Citation Ratio, SJR, SNIP, etc. Researchers may also consider the practical aspect of a journal such as publication fees, acceptance rate, review speed. H-Index

The h-index is an author-level metric that attempts to measure both the productivity and citation impact of the publications of a scientist or scholar. The index is based on the set of the scientist's most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in other publications
