Scope/Description:

ASE is an international journal that publishes highquality papers communications and discussion that advance aerosol science and engineering. Acceptable article forms include original research papers review articles letters commentaries news and views research highlights editorials correspondence and newdirection columns. ASE emphasizes the application of aerosol technology to both environmental and technical issues and it provides a platform not only for basic research but also for industrial interests. We encourage scientists and researchers to submit papers that will advance our knowledge of aerosols and highlight new approaches for aerosol studies and new technologies for pollution control. ASE promotes cuttingedge studies of aerosol science and stateofart instrumentation but it is not limited to academic topics and instead aims to bridge the gap between basic science and industrial applications. ASE accepts papers covering a broad range of aerosolrelated topics including aerosol physical and chemical properties composition formation transport and deposition numerical simulation of air pollution incidents chemical processes in the atmosphere aerosol control technologies and industrial applications. In addition ASE welcomes papers involving new and advanced methods and technologies that focus on aerosol pollution sampling and analysis including the invention and development of instrumentation nanoparticle formation nano technology indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring air pollution control and air pollution remediation and feasibility assessments.

Impact Factor

Impact factor (IF) is a scientometric factor based on the yearly average number of citations on articles published by a particular journal in the last two years. A journal impact factor is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field. Find out more: What is a good impact factor?

III. Other Science Influence Indicators

Any impact factor or scientometric indicator alone will not give you the full picture of a science journal. There are also other factors such as H-Index, Self-Citation Ratio, SJR, SNIP, etc. Researchers may also consider the practical aspect of a journal such as publication fees, acceptance rate, review speed. H-Index

The h-index is an author-level metric that attempts to measure both the productivity and citation impact of the publications of a scientist or scholar. The index is based on the set of the scientist's most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in other publications
