The AsiaPacific Journal of Ophthalmology APJO is the official publication of the AsiaPacific Academy of Ophthalmology APAO and the Academy of AsiaPacific Professors of Ophthalmology AAPPO. It is an openaccess peerreviewed electronic journal and is indexed in MEDLINEIndex Medicus and Emerging Sources Citation Index ESCI. APJO welcomes submissions of original clinical research articles review articles perspectives and letters to the editor. With the aim of supporting and fostering the academic exchange of knowledge and expertise no processing and publication fees will be charged to the authors. As a bimonthly publication APJO delivers both general issues and special issues which feature uptodate and specialized topics contributed by worldrenowned experts. By assembling a wellbalanced collection of articles APJO serves as an excellent venue for the latest clinical and research information for ophthalmologists and visual scientists around the globe.
