Les BMSAP couvrent de manire pluridisciplinaire les divers champs de lanthropologie aux frontires du biologique et du culturel.ce titre la revue sintresselorigine etlvolution des Hominins aux processus de peuplements dduits des donnes archologiques gntiques et dmographiquesla dynamique de changements des socits et de leurs environnements et aux rponses biologiques sociales et culturelles quils induisent ainsi qu lhistoire de la discipline. Les BMSAP publient en franais ou en anglais des articles originaux des revues de synthses et des notes. Ils publient aussi des comptes rendus de lecture la liste des thses soutenues chaque anne dans la discipline et les rsums des journes annuelles de la Socit dAnthropologie de Paris.
