Cadernos de Pesquisa is a quarterly academic journal of the Carlos Chagas Foundation FCC. Created in 1971 it aims to disseminate scholarly output directly or indirectly related to education including studies that address in an interdisciplinary way gender ethnicracial relations childhood youth school work family and public policy issues. It receives unpublished manuscripts from various humanities fields and theoreticalmethodological perspectives enabling the exchange of information and debate on their main questions.Its priority is to publish empirical historical or documentary research particularly studies conducted in Brazil while also accepting research from abroad. It includes essays on theoreticalmethodological contributions interviews experiment reports and reviews.In addition to the Articles section the journal may feature others organized according to each issues specificity. Highlights publishes dossiers on relevant or emerging questions Subjects on Debate features articles on controversial issues Plural Space presents interviews and experiment reports. Finally the journal has a Review section.It publishes texts in Portuguese and Spanish in its print and online versions at the FCC Publications Portal as well as in various indexing databases. Works submitted in other languages are translated into Portuguese the original article becoming available online only. Each issue features English versions of articles which become available online.Cadernos de Pesquisa has no articles processing charges APC. Access to the online version is open and free.
