Scope/Description:

Church Communication and Culture CCC is published on an Open Access basis by the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross School of Church Communications in partnership with Routledge TaylorFrancis. Dedicated to deepening knowledge and understanding about the dialogue between religion communication and culture in the public arena and based on comprehensive data analysis and theoretical inquiry CCC offers an international forum where researchers and practitioners can advance quality communication research on the Catholic Church and other religious communities.CCC derives its name from the reality that a whole network of particular institutions within the Catholic Church have a multitude of specific objectives to carry out in concrete societies with diverse peoples. The Churchs teaching and aims which are universal in scope nevertheless in their practical application find expression in various institutions that operate in diverse ways and on many different levels. Consequently CCC aims to apply critical thought to the communicative dimension of the Catholic Churchs activity to engage society and promote dialogue with cultures. Content thus reflects theoretical inquiry based on empirical research and intellectual debate rather than technological development.CCC is a peerreviewed journal. All peer review is doubleblind and detailed Instructions for Authors can be found here. The standard article publishing charge APC for this journal is 435US565500. Depending on your location these charges may be subject to local taxes. There are no charges for submitting to the journal.

Impact Factor

Impact factor (IF) is a scientometric factor based on the yearly average number of citations on articles published by a particular journal in the last two years. A journal impact factor is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field. Find out more: What is a good impact factor?

III. Other Science Influence Indicators

Any impact factor or scientometric indicator alone will not give you the full picture of a science journal. There are also other factors such as H-Index, Self-Citation Ratio, SJR, SNIP, etc. Researchers may also consider the practical aspect of a journal such as publication fees, acceptance rate, review speed.
