Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment EPEE is a quarterly peer reviewed platform focusing on energy and environmental economics and policy including the economics of public utilities. Contributions from academic researchers utility managers and policymakers ensure a useful exchange of knowledge and experience. This approach is very important particularly in a period when energy markets and regulatory and institutional frameworks are undergoing rapid change and environmental issues both local and global are becoming increasingly important. The journal is organized mainly into two sections. The section Observatory includes articles in which specialists express their views about topical issues of energy and environmental policy. The Essays section focuses on the scientific papers mainly concerning the microeconomics and macroeconomics of energy and the environment as well as comparative analyses of policies. All papers will be included in EconLit and Scopus. This will ensure that they will be read and cited by a worldwide audience. EPEE is edited by an international editorial board. The editorial board will be supported by a Scientific Committee composed of some of the leading international experts in the field of energy and environmental economics. EPEE is a fundamental publication on energy and environmental issues characterised by a multifaceted perspective an approach which is crucial for researchers policymakers and operators in the energy and environmental sector.

Impact Factor

Impact factor (IF) is a scientometric factor based on the yearly average number of citations on articles published by a particular journal in the last two years. A journal impact factor is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field. Find out more: What is a good impact factor?

III. Other Science Influence Indicators

Any impact factor or scientometric indicator alone will not give you the full picture of a science journal. There are also other factors such as H-Index, Self-Citation Ratio, SJR, SNIP, etc. Researchers may also consider the practical aspect of a journal such as publication fees, acceptance rate, review speed.
