Enfance is a quarterly scientific journal that publishes articles on children and their development. It explores a variety of areas including motor sensory social emotional and cognitive development and deals with a wide range of ages from the neonatal period up to adolescence. Articles may look at normal development a developmental particularity an exceptional ability for example or a developmental disorder or disability. Comparisons between different types of development are encouraged. Particular focus is given to studies that are situated at the interface of several disciplines including health economics epidemiology quantitative clinical practice ICT robotics animal biology ethnology and ethnosociology.
