Lampe Oxford 1961 xixlv and the Oxford Dictionary of Byzantium Oxford 1991 I xxxlv references to papyri should conform to the abbreviations listed in the Checklist of Editions. Recent articles can be consulted for format. Contributors are requested to observe these usages in preparing their manuscripts.
