La Revista Cientfica de Informacin y Comunicacin IC es una revista anual que se publica en el mes de enero y est vinculada al Departamento de Periodismo I de la Universidad de Sevilla.Su misin es contribuiral anlisis la reflexin el debate y la crtica terica en el mbito de la comunicacin campo que no entendemos como restringido a un conjunto de tcnicas y saberes profesionales. Todo ello compaginando una declarada vocacin cientfica con la intencin de servir como plataforma de proyeccin a nuevas perspectivas nuevos acercamientos y posturas de acadmicos y pensadores de reconocido prestigio as como de jvenes investigadores. La publicacin utiliza herramientas para evitar el plagio y monitoriza los artculos recibidos de cara a garantizar la buena prctica cientfica.IC tiene una clara vocacin internacional publica artculos en espaol e ingls as como excepcionalmente en otros idiomas y ms de una dcada de antigedad. Su sistema de evaluacin de manuscritos es riguroso y se lleva a cabo bajo la frmula de peerreviewed o revisin por pares.
