The Ideology and Politics Journal aims to develop an interdisciplinary platform for debates of informed and nonpartisan researchers in the fields of social philosophy political science sociology political economy intellectual history and cultural studies.Devoted to the advancement of understanding of sociopolitical processes in postSoviet Belarus Moldova Russia and Ukraine it deals with the ideological and intellectual issues arising in the course of formation of new societies.Authors in IPJ explore how these societies acknowledge new socioeconomic reality change of values and guiding ideas for new political institutes.They also consider how emerged societies represent themselves and their pasts as well as how they project their futures. IPJ offers to its readers theoretical as well as empirical works that are of interest beyond the narrow circles of academicians.The Ideology and Politics Journal is dedicated to the analysis of ideologies in its political social and conceptual forms.We recognise complexity and vagueness of the concept of ideology.To address this complexity IPJ focuses its publications to the broadly defined manifestations of ideologies includingpolitical ideologies culture and discoursephenomena of powerepistemological issues of truth values legitimacy and institualisationdomination exploitation and solidarityrecognition issuescollective identities and memoriesideological traditions and innovations.
