Scope/Description:

The Indian Ecological Society publishes its official organ Indian Journal of Ecology a leading ecology research journal. The journal publishes original research papers on basic and applied aspects of ecology viz. human ecology environmental pollution agro ecosystems and aquatic grassland and forest ecosystems. The journal is a focus and strength for our society. The journal is published biannually in June and December. This is one of the scientific journals in India which is up to date and published in time.The journal also publishes the abstracts of the papers presented in zonal meetings. The presidential addresses and award lectures delivered during the annual meetings are published as review. The Society has developed a strict system for the review of manuscripts and discourages the publications of manuscripts without any relevance to the subject of Ecology.
