The International Journal of Toxicology publishes fully refereed papers covering the entire field of toxicology. Its articles address previously unpublished findings or assessments of the toxicity hazards of industrial chemicals, pharmaceutical agents, environmental contaminants and other entities, and explores their mechanisms of action and relevance to human health. Each issue brings the reader up to date across the broad range of critical issues in toxicology, including: •mechanisms of toxicity •risk assessment and safety evaluation •carcinogenicity •reproductive and genetic toxicity •epidemiology and clinical toxicity •new approaches to toxicological testing •alternatives to animal testing •regulatory toxicology
