The mission of JournalismCommunication Monographs is to publish original scholarly works that are too long as articles and too short or too specialized for book form. One of the goals of the journal is to publish work from the entire field whether the methodology was historical legal behavioral or critical particularly those that provide a critical or applied synthesis of significant scholarship. Works especially are encouraged that speak to the broader field of journalism and mass communication seeking to establish Monographs as a readily available resource for understanding and advancing theory methodology andor practice.
