Physis Revista de Sade Coletivauma publicao trimestral do Instituto de Medicina Social da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro IMSUERJ. Sua orientao editorialaberta para a produo na rea de Sade Coletiva enfatizando abordagens interdisciplinares crticas e inovadoras nas reas de Cincias Humanas e Sociais e de Poltica Planejamento e Administrao em Sade. Dada a existncia de publicaes relevantes nacionais na rea de Epidemiologia o corpo editorial de Physis optou por dar prioridade nesta rea a artigos que abordem dimenses conceituais da mesma ou ainda repercusses sociais dos conhecimentos produzidos pela pesquisa epidemiolgica. A revistacomposta por artigos de livre submisso dos autores e possui uma seo de resenhas e crticas bibliogrficas uma seo de entrevistas e uma de cartas. Ocasionalmente so propostos temas especficos considerados relevantes com textos de autores convidados que tenham insero relevante no debate sobre o tema. Mesmo estes contudo so submetidos a reviso por pares pelos editores da revista. O ttulo abreviado do peridicoPhysis que deve ser usado em bibliografias notas de rodap referncias e legendas bibliogrficas.
