La Revue Archologique de Picardie est issue de la fusion en 1982 de la Revue archologique de lOise diteCompigne depuis 1971 et des Cahiers archologiques de Picardie publisAmiens.partir de 1974 cette revue rgionale a pour mission principale de mettrela disposition des scientifiques des chercheurs et des amateurs clairs les travaux archologiques rcents et anciens excuts en Picardie. Elle publie aussi des articles de synthses sur les thmes de recherche archologique propresla rgion.Elle dite paralllement aux livraisons annuelles fin juin et fin dcembre des numros spciaux thmatiques ou des actes de colloques tenus dans les trois dpartements picards Aisne Oise Somme.
