Scripta Classica Israelica is the yearbook of the Israel Society for the Promotion of Classical Studies. The journal is published in Israel and is generously supported by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Bar Ilan University Ben Gurion University of the Negev Haifa University TelAviv University and the Open University.From its inception in 1974 Scripta Classica Israelica has been devoted to the study of Classics and Ancient History. It welcomes articles in English French German Italian or Latin on any aspect of the classical world. All submissions are refereed by outside readers.Reflecting the aims of the ISPCS Scripta Classica Israelica also keeps its readers informed about Classics in Israel by issuing reports on Classics in Hebrew Dissertations in progress at Israeli universities The proceedings of the annual conference of the ISPCS.
