Sociologiasuma publicao quadrimestral do Programa de PsGraduao em Sociologia PPGS do Instituto de Filosofia e Cincias Humanas IFCH da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul UFRGS tendo por misso promover o intercmbio entre cientistas sociais do Brasil e do exterior.Sociologiasuma revista de orientao pluralista que busca ampliar os espaos para expresso das diversas correntes existentes nas cincias sociais colocando em debate temas e abordagens que constituem o campo acadmico da sociologia. Contempla tambm espao para outras reas do conhecimento como antropologia literatura informtica economia entre outras que apresentem importantes interfaces com a sociologia.Seu projeto editorial contempla duas partes principais um dossi temtico especfico para cada nmero e uma seo diversificada que abrange artigos cientficos e de atualizao tericometodolgica resenhas notas de pesquisa entrevistas.O ttulo Sociologias deve ser usado em bibliografias notas de rodap em referncias e legendas bibliogrficas.A revista encontrase disponvel para colaboradores de todos os pases possuindo um conselho editorial diversificado em termos de regies do Brasil e incluindo consultores internacionais e tem contado com apoio financeiro da PPGSUFRGS Proex PROPESQUFRGS IFCHUFRGS Capes e CNPq.Sociologiaspublicada no Brasil sob responsabilidade do Programa de PsGraduao em Sociologia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.
