Sudhoffs Archiv was founded in 1917 as Archiv fr Geschichte der Medizin Archive for the History of Medicine. It now has the longest unbroken publication history of any journal for the history of science anywhere in the world. Sudhoffs Archiv is committed to a strict historiographical perspective and dedicated to the sourcebased analysis of the history of the natural sciences mathematics and medicine.
