Scope/Description:

Transactions of the Philological Societyhas appeared since 1854 and continues the earlier Proceedings 184253 making it the oldest scholarly journal devoted to the general study of language and languages that has an unbroken tradition. It is published in three issues a year and distributed to all PhilSoc members as part of their subscription package.TPhS welcomes articles from scholars at any stage of their career which have evidencebased approaches to linguistics. All articles are doubleblind peerreviewed by two or more reviewers. We normally expect to return reviews to authors within 3 months of their first submission.
