VERITAS Revista de Filosofa y Teologa fue fundada en 1994 por el Pontificio Seminario Mayor San Rafael de Valparaso Chile. A partir del ao 2017 es una publicacin cuatrimestral Abril Agosto y Diciembre. El idioma habitual de la revista es el espaol aunque queda abierta la posibilidad para publicar artculos en otros idiomas tales como ingls francs italiano o portugus.VERITAS tiene como objetivo difundir entre los acadmicos y estudiantes del seminario as como tambin de otras instituciones eclesisticas y universitarias nacionales y extranjeras el resultado de la investigacin en las reas de la Filosofa y la Teologa. As y desde su talante catlico pretende llevar a cabo una contribucin de actualidad y rigor cientfico que promueva la reflexin y el debate abierto en la vida acadmica.VERITAS slo recibe y publica artculos inditos es decir no publicados que son el resultado de investigaciones originales en las reas de Filosofa y Teologa llevadas a cabo por autores nacionales y extranjeros. Tambin acepta otras contribuciones inditas producto de investigaciones posteriores tales como artculos de revisin y de actualizacin cuyo contenido original sea de inters para las reas especficas de la revista y respondan a las exigencias de cientificidad y originalidad.
